Getting There by Car

Travelling North From Kerikeri - From Kerikeri airport drive 32.5 kms north on State Highway 10,  until reaching the one way bridge past Kaeo township.

At the bridge take the road to Whangaroa for 4 kms until reaching a junction.  Turn right and follow this road for 7.3 kms to the Tauranga Bay turnoff on the left hand side.

Travelling South From the Far North - Before reaching Kaeo take the turnoff to Whangaroa on the left at the one way bridge. Follow for 4kms until reaching a junction.  Turn right and follow this road for 7.3 kms to the Tauranga Bay turnoff on the left hand side.

Getting There From Kerikeri Airport

There is a helicopter landing pad at Rongotai and it’s a mere 10 minute flight from the Kerikeri Bay of Islands airport.

Book your helicopter flight with SaltAir (the pilot may take you on a little tour before landing if you ask).

Rental cars or airport shuttles from Kerikeri Airport to Tauranga Bay (approx. 45 minute drive). Advise booking in advance.
